This beautiful, soulful drum came through during a 1:1 drum birthing. During our journeys to connect to the materials we were working with, and the incoming drum soul, I was shown the rose petals that I had found on the lawn the previous day. They appeared to have come from one-where, then I spotted a lone rose high up above the garden fence on my neighours rose bush. I added them to the soaking womb waters that the hide was in. I also saw white feathers hanging from the drum. I don't usually work with drum adornments, but this image was clear as day so I couldn't ignore it.
This shamanic drum holds beautiful patterning, along with a couple of 'scar' marks around the top right - as seen in images. She feels feminine and wild, a free soulful spirit, deeply connected to both land and sky.
The handle reaches up towards the north with goddess like arms/wings/antlers then down, like the roots of a tree into the earth towards the south. She ignites and uplifts, cleanses and purifies while keeping you deeply rooted. She feels at the same time pure and earthy.
The feathers are completely detachable.
