This drum has very subtle patterns around the face. A humble, honest, uncomplicated drum. But one that feels full of resource and holds a clear and strong voice. So far hasn't given me a name. I feel a quiet strength. One that doesn't need to make a big statement to have an impact. A sense of balance.
The triskele symbol which is the inspiration for this handle design, has neolithic roots and strong Celtic connections. Symbolizing: life-death-rebirth, spirit-mind-body, mother-father-child, past-present-future, power-intellect-love. For me I feel mostly flow and movement, infinity.
Comes with a free drum beater, a hawthorn branch, with a head filled with sheep's wool and attached with more of the deer hide and soft ethically sourced rabbit fur.
