16 inch Scottish deer hide shamanic drum crafted onto an Ash hoop, including a Larimar Cabochon crystal. This handle design is a new one for me, a double tri-spiral. So that's an inner and outer spiral.
The numbers are 3 arms of 9 strands, which are then split out into to 3 more strands. 27 holes which adds up to 9 (2+7=9 )

I just adore the spiraling movement of the handle on this drum. I feels almost windmill like. Hypnotic. Calibrating. Liberating. The drum holds a wonderful resonant tone, a big voice. When I asked if there was a name I may call her, I heard Adaline.
Adaline: meaning noble or noble one, faith. Often associated with grace, elegance and vintage timeless charm. Also linked to characteristics of pioneering, individualistic, spirited.
All my drums come with a free beater. This drum beater is made from willow, sheep's wool, chamois, and a lamb skin trim. I always use some of the same drum hide on the beater.
