Wow Wow Wow - this drum is so pure yet complex at the same time. The patterning and behavior of this deer hide merging with the spirit of this drum, has birthed an incredible sacred healing tool.
When I looked at the rear of the drum and asked, 'Do you have a name?' I heard Athena. Athena is the name of the Greek Goddess of wisdom. Then, as I took the drum outside to take photographs I was struck once more by the beautiful patterning and marks on the drum face, that of a bird rising, following that strong straight line upward, and I heard the word 'Condor'. The Condor also holds reference to wisdom " freedom, power, wisdom, and spiritual connection".
Feeling such a strong presence of flight/upward movement/higher wisdom and expansion, I looked up how far can a Condor fly - " An Andean condor can fly over 172 kilometers (107 miles) without flapping its wings, as demonstrated by one bird in a 2020 study that remained airborne for more than five hours"
Such effortless ascension, ease of wisdom, perspective and ethereal feminine energy.....deeply moving - and with such a powerful voice. Lost for words with this one.
