This hand crafted shamanic rattle for sale is made from bison hide with a black lambskin leather and salmon skin cuff. The wood handle is made from drift wood found along a local river bank. Naturally twisted to resemble a snake head.
Working with 3 hide sections creates volume within the head cavity offering enhanced resonance as well as a really attractive 3D shape.
The rattle head is filled with snowflake obsidian, rainbow moonstone, clear quartz, corn, black beans, mapacho tobacco from Peru, and a few stainless steel ball bearings.
This rattle was created over a couple of days with the final birthing this afternoon at 14:30pm, 9 July 2026. A beautiful sound, masculine feel, filled with snake medicine.
