16 inch deer hide shamanic drum on an ash hoop with intuitive handle design
A phenomenal sound to this spirit drum born at 5.33pm on 29.7.2026
I had just returned from crawling in caves and swimming in natural pools and I can feel the energy of this in the drum. The pattern on the face looks just like the mouth of a cave, and the colour's remind me of the rocks I brought home (having asked permission) which you can see in the photos.
The handle came through intuitively and I can feel the echo of spider energy and the butterflies resting that I found in my Snowdonia cave.
Spider is linked to the divine feminine, representing the primoridal creator, patience and deep intuitive wisdom.
This drum was born on one of our very hot days, the sun was burning down on me in the garden. When the words 'Breath of The Sun' came to me, which I have used to name this drum.
The beater handle is made from willow, a fluff of wild rabbit, soft suede head filled with sheeps wool, and attached with some of the deer hide.
