Absolutely stunning deer hide drum, full of mysticism, discernment, quality and earth meets sky energies is what I wrote down in my drum birthing diary after she came through.
She was slow in the labour stage, as I tuned in and moved where she wanted me to flow too. I feel the roots in the weaving pattern of the lacing in the south direction and stars and constellations in the North.
She feels present, wise and full of grace to me.
I was guided to add some vintage fox fur to the handle, bringing the fox energies to the mix along will energies of exotic wildness.
When I came to do this listing I asked for a name. I hear Elara, not a name I have heard before. I looked it up to find:
Greek Mythology: Elara was a mortal princess beloved by Zeus. To hide her from Hera, Zeus hid her deep beneath the Earth, where she gave birth to the giant Tityos.
