16 inch deer hide shamanic drum on an ash hoop with cross handle design wrapped with soft felted wool tied in the South. With Scottish feather attachment which is removable.

This drum is very much its name, powerful, strong, imperious. The patterns on the face are dramatic and full of fast movement. On the right of the drum face I see an open mouth with wind/sound leaving. As if calling in, or exiting out energy.
There is a softer more humble side to be experienced on the reverse, with the softly padded handle and design echoing a more humbly crafted ancestry. Holding the wisdom and knowing of our elders. The ability to rise up and face challenges, as well as gather together in tribe like formations, family gathering, familiarity and togetherness.
The beater handle is made from grey willow, a fox fur trim, soft suede head filled with sheep's wool, and attached with some of the deer hide and suede cord holding the attachment.
