16 inch deer hide shamanic drum on an ash hoop with cross design handle

Incredibly beautiful, honest and gentle drum with a powerful voice. Stunning patterns on the face. Full of synapse and spider energy. I really do seem to have Spider very present with me at the moment which is coming through in my work with Spirit Drums.
Synapse: the connection point in communication between two cells.
Spider: linked to the divine feminine, representing the primordial creator, patience and deep intuitive wisdom.
This drum holds the energies of gentle creation communication, wise, humble knowing. She calls to a deep remembering. Aware that spiders are not always seen as attractive, when I tuned in for a name I heard Mable, meaning lovable. Perfect.
The beater handle is made from grey willow, a fluff of wild rabbit, soft suede head filled with sheeps wool, and attached with some of the deer hide.
