This drum was born in Whitley Bay, the hide was taken to the beach and dipped in the North Sea, after a walk on the beach. We felt the full force of all the elements that day. Just beautiful.
This drum feels capable, resilient, patient and calm. A depth of soul.
After taking the images above, I asked for a name and heard Norman. On looking this up, the meaning is 'Northman', or 'Man of the North'. Perfect!

My shamanic drums for sale are made from sustainably sourced hide from either Scotland or the Netherlands. All my drums come with a free beater that usually has the same deer skin used in some way, to connect them. I always work in a sacred ceremonial way respecting all parts of the process.
