Phenomenal 16 inch dyed deer hide crystal filled ocean drum, on a maple hoop, handle trimmed with fox hair duck feathers.
This incredible sacred healing tool was born on 23 August 2026 around 5.25 pm
There were two deer hides used in the crafting of this sacred sound healing tool, both small, from Scotland. They were selected and prepared together, happy in their union. Each hide has a slightly different texture which adds to the variety in sound when playing each side.
This beautiful ocean drum is filled with Clear Quartz, Green Aventurine, Blue Lace Agate, Blue Moonstone and Moonstone with a few steel ball bearings added for grounding, weight and crispness of sound. Some glass beads added for clarity.
The sound and energy of this mix flowing over each side of the hide is so consuming, it really is an 'out of this world 'experience.
The fox trims add richness, texture and playfulness.
These ocean drums are super powerful invokers and energy cleansers. I use my own in many ways; on its own to offer someone a sound bath/healing, after a healing to mop up and clear residual energy, during a water element sound mediation/healing...or just for myself because the energy moving through my system feels utterly divine and takes me into the cosmos.
