This drum holds a stunning voice. She feels strong, sure, wise and gentle. I see images of forests, mossy ground, hillsides. When I asked for a name I heard 'Rachael'. There is movement and character in the hide patterning...such a beauty.
I always chose my crystals intuitively - I ask which crystal to use. I purposefully don't look up the meaning of them or study them. I get such a kick out of looking up their meaning at the end and Malachite fits the energy of this drum so perfectly it is incredible.
Malachite: Sometimes called the Stone of Transformation. personal growth, positive change, protection. Symbolizes nature, re-birth, vitality and growth. Echoing forests, plants and springtime. Abundance, prosperity and the life force of the earth, sometimes seen as a stone of Gaia.
All my drums come with a free beater. The beater is made from a fallen oak branch, chamois leather, filled with sheep's wool. I include hide from the drum on the beater. The fur trim is from an ethical hide supplier in England.
