Holds a good sound for a small drum. Would make a fabulous travel partner or compliment to an existing shamanic drum collection. As a general rule, the smaller the drum, the higher the sound. This can vary depending on hide thickness and how tightly the drum is laced.
This one needs a little tuning to drop into a lower resonant sound but is easily achieved.

This beater is made from a fallen branch, the chamoise suede head is filled with sheeps wool. I've included a cuff of the same hide to the handle, and attached the heads with deer hide also. This is a double headed beater, each end offers a different sound as demonstrated in the video with this listing
