Deeply elegant drum with a tri-spiral handle. I love the way the hide has stretched into the rear space, a long reaching into the centre. There is a 'blaze' pattern running down the face of the drum, and a few other characteristics that brought the word 'Scorched' to mind when tuning into her energy.
She has a big loud voice with a clear note and resonance.
All my drums come with a free beater. This drum beater is made from willow, sheep's wool, chamois, and a soft ethically sourced rabbit fur trim, and some lambskin. I always use some of the same drum hide on the beater. This beater is double sided, one end smaller and less padded than the other to create a sharper sound. Beaters make a big difference to how a drum sounds so this double sided offers a greater scale of tone, energy and frequency.
